Well, I truly am the worst blogger EVER. I had completely abandoned this blog, but since I have decided to revamp my business website (which will actually be a blogsite...ironic, huh?), I decided that I would dedicate this one to personal stuff. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all of the other social media sites are great, but if you are like me you get really bogged down trying to keep up with everyone. I have close to 700 friends, and only about 20 of them that I actually talk to on a regular *in person* basis. This way, you can follow my blog and check in on us when you want to and not when I pop up in your news feeds. I am devoting myself to less procrastination this year...you guys can help me by keeping an eye on this blog and making sure I stay on track! I have started a photography project, along with countless other photographers, to take at least one personal photo each day. All year long I am taking photos of other people's families, and I want to be sure mine doesn't get lost in the mix. These will not be *professional* pictures, but snapshots of our real life. I know that I won't be posting everyday, nor will you care everyday ;) so I will try to post them each week. Here is the first one to get started: This picture was taken last night while my little spiderman was playing with his daddy on the couch. Posed pictures never capture his true joy, so I fell in love with this one instantly. He might be a daddy's boy! What do you think?

Have I gone mad...?

I must confess...I have always been somewhat obsessed with fairy tales, and Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorites. No, not because of Johnny Depp. Okay, well maybe a little because of Johnny Depp ;) Right now I am working on props for the full session (ie. costumes, cards, etc...) and I am so excited about it! We just couldn't wait though, so Peyton and I decided to do an impromptu mini session a few days ago. I love how these turned out, but they are nothing compared to what I have in mind!

What!? Two blog posts in the same day!! I know, I know...these boys were just too cute not to share with you! This is actually the 3rd time I have photographed these guys and even though there were only a couple of weeks between the last 2 sessions, I swear they get cuter EVERY time! The first time I met this little guy he was about 8 weeks old. I can not believe he is ONE now!!

And big brother was watching out for him :)

They were much happier outside, but who wouldn't be? It was such a great day...the wind was still blowing, but it didn't pose the same challenges with the boys as it did with the girls.

So, I keep saying that I am going to this whole blogging thing the right way, but I have yet to do it. My apologies...in my defense, over the past few months I have been a mother of three, a full time student, and opened a new studio...so y'all will forgive me, right? ;) Especially after you see this next post! I was fortunate enough a few weeks ago to meet these three beautiful little girls, who allowed me to capture a tiny bit of their lives on a very, VERY windy day. We may have fought the wind, but we definitely won!

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays, if you can actually call it a holiday. With all the pink and hearts and love-it just doesn't get much better. While I was setting up for mini sessions I took some photos of my handsome little guy. I love all the baby chub!! He just turned 5 months old. When we went to Myrtle Beach in October we got "Stinky Face" the monkey and he was bigger than Finn at that time, so I decided to get a picture with him each month to document his growth. So here they are, my little monkeys!

I love four legged babies too!

Introducing Miss Brycie

Meet Finn Michael Devlin, the newest addition to the Devlin family. This is the reason I have been so busy lately :) He was born on August 9, 2011 at 8:51 am. Weighing in at a whopping 9 pounds 3 ounces and 21.5 inches long! Life has been nothing short of amazing since he joined us. He is a week shy of 5 months old and already has one tooth and another on the way...and I swear he already says "momma", but my husband doesn't agree LOL
